Matt Landry, a pastor in Indianapolis, is working on his fourth annual 30 Days of Catch campaign for Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana.
After discovering Ethan Bryan's book, "A Year of Playing Catch," where the author challenges the reader to play catch for 30 days, Matt took the idea and combined it with his ongoing work with Gleaners Food Bank. In 2023, he played catch for 30 days with 30 different people, raising awareness and funds for Gleaners.
Through the years, he has played catch with representatives from the Indianapolis Indians and South Bend Cubs, former Major League Baseball players, Indiana state senators, and even Gleaners President & CEO Fred Glass!
